Hemp is so 90s. Wear bamboo socks

“Bamboo,” the salesman said. And indeed, they’re 65 percent bamboo fiber.
Knowing how quickly bamboo grows (have you ever tried to keep it from spreading in your garden?) I thought I had stumbled upon a brilliant, eco-friendly way to feed sock fetishists.

I picked up this pair because, well, who doesn’t need more funky brown socks to wear with suits? They’re naturally antibacterial, they have extra cushion woven into the toes and heels, and they wick away moisture.
That’s a sock working as hard as my feet do. They’re $14.95, but they’re sturdy — buy a pattern you love, because these are going to be around for a while.
They even have them for men. I saw these men’s patterns in blue and beige I thought were neat.
