When you really need to say thank you
There are just some presents for which you can’t email a thank you note. If you are given a vintage broach that used to be owned by Great Aunt Marie, the most recent owner of the jewelry really needs to get a hand-written note. Which is why you need this boxed
set of blank cards from Papyrus.
The set, at $29.95, includes 20 beautiful metallic gold note cards with plain writing surfaces. I like the plain cards because they’re nice enough for heavy-duty thank yous, and they’re fancy enough for congratulations on weddings, births and new jobs.
In the box you’ll find two very pretty beaded ball-point pens, just in case you can’t find something to write with when inspiration strikes.
The whole set comes in a beaded box embroidered with Japanese-inspired chysantheum flowers, which is good, since I’m finding you just can’t have enough beautiful boxes that don’t have candy logos on them. Save the box so you can use it to wrap someone else’s present.
Or use it as a jewelry box for that pin from Aunt Marie. The note cards come wrapped in matching ribbon you can use to string together earrings, pins or bracelets.
