No such thing as too pretty to eat

“Ooooh, you got Godiiiiva,” crooned the office mate who brought me the package, from a vendor I really, truly had been meaning to call. The fact that this particular company finds itself working with specialty publications each having their own unique flair made this 15-piece “G Collection” gift box ($38 online only) an especially ironic touch. Who wants to be considered plain vanilla in the colorful new world of custom content anyway? Especially when the alternative is Tahitian Vanilla.
Or, Bananas Foster. Or Mexican Hot Chocolate, or… I could go on. When you give a business gift, you’re looking to make an impression, or to send a special message, which makes presentation a crucial element in the choice. This gift succeeded in spades; I made sure everyone in the department got to ooh and ahh over the assortment before we dug in. The tag says, “the fusion of art and chocolate.” One might as well have added, “and a phone call, eh?”
